Partnership Development Manager (PDM) - Matt Henaughan

Matt has been the PDM for the Lewisham School Sport Partnership since August 2008. Before that he worked for a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport, most recently filling the post of School Sport and Club Development Manager at England Netball. Matt also covers the Sports Development Manager role with the London Borough of Lewisham and aims to help provide every young person in Lewisham with the opportunity to do 5 hours of PE and Sport.

Communications and Information Officer (Website and General Queries) - Lucy Mansbridge

Lucy joined the team in September 2009 and is here to deal with day-to-day enquiries, updating the website and communicating the good work of the partnership locally. Lucy works part-time for Lewisham SSP, as she is also the Events and Information Officer for the London Borough of Lewisham Sport and Leisure Service. Lucy aims to ensure that everyone involved with Lewisham SSP can easily access the information they require and can get any questions answered with the minimum of fuss.

Competition Manager (CM) - Chris Smith

Chris has worked in the Borough of Lewisham as Competition Manager since April 2008. Prior to that Chris was working as a Project Manager at the West of England Sports Trust. He aims to provide competitive opportunities for all school aged young people in Lewisham that meet their needs in terms of both age and ability. He also ensures that the school competitions have relavent pathways into both community clubs and higher level competitions.

Community Sports Development Officer - Laurence Hickmott

Laurence started the role of Club and School Links Development Officer in June 2009. Previously, Laurence was a PLT in Lambeth where he worked closely with the SSP, Sports Development Team and other partners. In 2008 he was rewarded for his 'Outstanding Contribution to the School Sport Partnership' at the South London Youth Achievement Awards. He is excited to be in this new role and is positive that he can help develop sustainable links between local sports clubs and schools to help create more opportunities for young people to access the 5 Hour Offer.

Catford School Sports Co-ordinator (SSCo) - Theo Williams-Parker

Theo has been an SSCo and teacher at Catford since September 2008, working with 7 local Primary Schools. His main goal is to help the children that he works with to enjoy PE and Sport with the aim of encouraging lifelong participation in physical activity.

Deptford Green School Sports Co-ordinator (SSCo) - Louisa Heward

Louisa has been a PE teacher at Deptford Green School since September 2007. She has been involved in transition work ith Year 7 students over the past year and has led sessions for Year 5/6 in trampolining at Deptford Green. She is looking forward to working closely with her Primaries to raise achievement and enjoyment in PE for all pupils.

Forest Hill School Sports Co-ordinator (SSCo) - Shelley-Ann Dennis

Shelley-Ann Dennis has been an SSCo since 2005 working in several different Secondary Schools, and subsequently a large number of Lewisham Primary Schools. She has been based at Forest Hill School for the past 2.5 years. Her passion used to be Netball, but due to injury she now pursues the more laid back sport of Golf. 

Prendergast School Sports Co-ordinator (SSCo) - Ailish Burke

Ailish has been an SSCo and PE teacher at Prendergast Hilly Fields College for one year. Her previous school was Queen Elizabeth Girls School in Barnet, where she was a PE teacher working closely with the Barnet PDM and SSCo's on a number of projects.

St Matthew School Sports Co-ordinator (SSCo) - Paul Bradley

Paul has been a PE Teacher since 2005, working in Kent and Greenwich before starting in Lewisham in September 2009. He has previously been an SSCo in Greenwich at St Pauls Academy. He has a lifelong dream of winning the Lotto - so fingers crossed for him!

Sydenham School Sports Co-ordinator (SSCo) - Glen Burt

Glen was Head of PE at Sydenham School before becoming an SSCo. She now works as an SSCo for both the Lewisham SSP and the Haberdashers' Aske's SSP in Lewisham. Glen has 3 Secondary Schools (one of which is a Special School) and 11 Primary Schools in her 2 Families. Although the role of an SSCo is very varied, Glen's main ambition is to encourage every child to enjoy PE & Sport and to reach their potential.

Further Education Sports Co-ordinator (FESCo) - Cassie Bridger

Cassie joined Lewisham SSP in October 2009 as the Further Education Sports Co-ordinator. Cassie is a Loughborough University graduate and has previously worked for Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL) as a Sports Development Officer working closely with the SSP, Sports Development Team, Pro-Active South London and other local partners. She is looking forward to creating and developing sporting, coaching and volunteering opportunities for students within further education.
